Mission


The UBBC Junior High School’s Mission is to provide an exceptional educational experience that fosters intellectual growth and personal development; prepares students for success in high school and beyond. Through a comprehensive curriculum for both the K to 12 Basic Education for Junior High School and the Science High School (SciHS) Programs, the UBBC Junior High School is dedicated to nurturing a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and essential skills to empower them to become assertive and versatile individuals with a lifelong love for learning.

The UBBC Junior High School’s Vision is to create a learning community where students are inspired to explore, discover, and reach their full potential. Through inventive teaching practices, engaging experiences, and a supportive network, the UBBC Junior High School strives to enable its learners to become capable, empathetic leaders prepared to thrive in a dynamic and global society; ready for the rigorousness of the Senior High School Education.

The UBBC Junior High School is anchored on the holistic development of every Junior High School UBian. Through a conducive and technology-driven environment, the department has withstood the challenges of times and continues to break the barriers of the ‘now’ with its timely projects and innovative programs—all for students’ BEST learning experience, in the name of quality education and excellence.

Objectives


High School Department Objectives (Basic Education Curriculum)

1. Enhance students’ communication, scientific, research, and technological skills, abilities, and attitudes to prepare them for higher education, the world of work, and entrepreneurship;
2. Provide students with innovative educational experiences where they will demonstrate 21st-century skills;
3. Equip students with adaptive real-life learning experiences toward a better normal;
4. Engage students in extra/co-curricular activities and outreach programs for the community and environment for a balanced social development;
5. Provide students with a diverse and conducive learning environment promoting various opportunities to imbibe gender sensitivity and instill social responsibility;
6. Build up a career plan and pathway to help them in their next steps beyond high school; and,
7. Produce morally upright individuals who will be productive, dynamic, and responsible leaders of the community.
