Students from the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program of the University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC) under the College of Management and Tourism (CMT) continue to strengthen their professional qualifications after successfully earning multiple national certifications in bookkeeping, financial management, and Lean Six Sigma competencies.
Among the recent achievers is Alyza Mae A. Ventura, a 4th Year BSBA–Financial Management student, who earned the Certified Financial Management Specialist (CFMS) certification under Batch 30, further demonstrating advanced competency in financial analysis and management practices.
Meanwhile, several BSBA students also successfully passed the Certified Lean Six Sigma White Belt (CLSSWB) and Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (CLSSYB) certifications under the Council for Six Sigma Certification, following the examination conducted on May 31, 2026. These certifications validate foundational knowledge in process improvement, quality management, and operational efficiency.
The certified students include Bianca Franchesca R. Melo, NCB, CLSSWB, CLSSYB and Margarette P. Pitogo, NCB, CLSSWB, CLSSYB, both 3rd Year BSBA–Financial Management students, along with Ann Margarette C. Rosales, CLSSWB, CLSSYB and Andrea Paula M. Villanueva, CLSSWB, CLSSYB, also from the same program. From BSBA Human Resource Management, Mheryl Nicole A. Saul and Irish Jem Aguila earned both CLSSWB and CLSSYB certifications.
These achievements reflect the growing culture of academic excellence and industry alignment within UBLC’s business programs, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting access to relevant, competency-based learning and internationally aligned certifications that enhance student employability and lifelong learning.
