University of Batangas Lipa faculty achieve international research publication milestone

Faculty members of the University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC) have successfully published research studies in reputable international journals, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and global scholarly engagement. Leading the achievement is Dr. Jewelson M. Santos, faculty member of the College of Information Technology, Entertainment and Communication (CITEC), whose research outputs were published in internationally recognized academic platforms. His study titled “Utilization of Digital Analytics System in Tracking Swimmers’ Progress in Real-Time,” co-authored with Tio Fajar Fitrianto, Kukuh Pambuka Putra, and Josua Fernandez, appeared in the International Journal of Fundamental Movement Skills (JFMS) of Physical Education, Fitness and Sports. Another collaborative research titled “Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Physical Education: A Multidimensional Framework for Enhancing Student Engagement, Skill Acquisition, Performance Analytics, and Personalized Learning in Contemporary Educational,” authored with Dr. Jovi Jane C. Bernales of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) and Mr. Limuel Abellanida, was published in the International Journal of Physical Education, Fitness and Sports

These publications demonstrate UBLC’s growing presence in international research communities and highlight interdisciplinary innovation integrating artificial intelligence, education, and performance analytics.

The successful publications underscore UBLC’s sustained efforts to promote research productivity among faculty members and to contribute meaningful knowledge addressing contemporary educational challenges.
