University of Batangas and JP Holdings Japan formalized their partnership through a Memorandum

The University of Batangas took a significant step toward strengthening its global engagement and graduate employability by entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with JP-Holdings Inc., a leading Japanese corporation in education and employment services.

The MOU signing, held on June 10, 2025, formalized the partnership between the two institutions with a shared goal of providing overseas employment opportunities for UB graduates, particularly in Japan. The agreement also covers language training programs in both Japanese and English to prepare students for international work environments.

The MOU was signed by UB President, Lily Marlene J. Hernandez, and Mr. Tohru Sakai, representative of JP-Holdings Inc., in a ceremony attended by university officials and representatives of the Japanese firm.

With this partnership, the University of Batangas reaffirms its commitment to fostering global citizenship and preparing its students for success on the international stage.
