The University of Batangas (UB) Senior High School (SHS) students emerged as champions in the 1st Katipunan ng Kabataan Synergy SYNERQUIZ: An Inter-SHS Quiz Bee held at the Batangas City Convention Center on August 8, 2025.
Competing under the theme Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond, Francis Wendell Labay, Jazpher Shi, and Khloe Phoeve Fyona Talastas showcased teamwork and intellect that led them to victory. With the guidance of Atty. Mary Cristel Joy G. Contreras, a UB SHS faculty member, the students secured the championship while advancing the cause of uniting the youth for one purpose: engaging in meaningful tournaments for a brighter future.
The Panlungsod na Pederasyon ng Sangguniang Kabataan – Batangas City spearheaded the event, which highlighted the vital role of youth in advancing sustainable development.
