The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results of the August 2025 Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination (EELE) on August 28, with the University of Batangas (UB) recording an impressive 93.33% passing rate as 28 examinees earned their licenses.

This passing rate exceeded the national average for the EELE, reaffirming the College of Engineering (CoE) as the home of champions and strengthening UB’s reputation as a center of quality education.

The achievement reflects the engineers’ iron will and discipline, supported by the unwavering guidance of faculty members and mentors who instilled in them the confidence to succeed.

On September 1, 2025, UB honored its newly licensed electrical engineers and the College of Engineering (CoE) Department at the UB Culture and Arts Building. Joining the recognition ceremony were Electrical Engineering Program Head Engr. Jermhel Solis, CoE Dean Dr. Henry I. Cabatay, Senior Vice President for Administration Mr. Alex A. Ramos, Board of Regents Chairman Atty. Jesus V. Mayo, and University President Ms. Lily Marlene Hernandez-Bohn.

The Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Batangas awarded UB with a Certificate of Commendation for this exemplary achievement on September 1, 2025. Batangas City Councilor Aileen Arriola-Montalbo initiated the commendation.
