On August 30, 2025, the representatives of the University of Batangas (UB) brought honors to the institution in the Pasikatan sa Buwan ng Wika 2025, held at the Batangas City Convention Center.
In the secondary division of Patimpalak sa Katutubong Sayaw, UB Indayog Kultura showcased their Polka sa Nayon performance and secured second place under the mentorship of Mr. Jojo Conti from the Culture, Arts and Publications Office (CArP).
Meanwhile, Coaches Mr. Sherwin Celis and Mr. Eric Kalaw trained UB’s representatives for the Paligsahan sa mga Awiting Likhang Pilipino (Vocal Duet). In the elementary division, Briana Lavinia Jane Angulo and Rayver James Naces secured third place.
In the secondary division, Samantha Audrey Lascano and Vien Allyzza Marciano proudly captured first place. Representing the college division, Kenn Dipasupil and Princess Magsaysay finished third.
Through the guidance of CArP, UB students continue to excel not only in academics but also in the performing arts. These recognitions highlight the university’s commitment to developing well-rounded individuals whose talents bring pride to the UB community.
