UB CICT faculty member breaks into Top 8 of eLearning Forum Asia Technology Innovation Award

On August 14–15, Mrs. Bernadet Macaraig, a faculty member of the University of Batangas (UB) College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT), earned a spot in the Top 8 Shortlisted Awardees for the eLearning Forum Asia 2025 Technology Innovation Award in Bangkok, Thailand.
Her presentation, Bahay-Bahayan: An Interactive Museum Digitizing Batangueño’s Local Knowledge, showcases a tech-driven cultural and educational initiative that preserves Batangueño heritage by transforming traditional knowledge into interactive, gamified, and immersive experiences. The project ensures accessibility, authenticity, and integration into education with the support of both local stakeholders and government.
