Eight Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) alumni from the University of Batangas (UB) successfully passed the 16th Certified Industrial Engineer Examination held on April 26, 2026, with Engr. Charisse Anne Panganiban clinched the Rank 9 spot nationwide.
The Industrial Engineering Certification Board (IECB) released the official results after the Center for Educational Measurement, Inc. (CEM) administered the rigorous nationwide assessment, which thoroughly evaluated the candidates’ competencies in operations research, systems design, and ergonomics.
Engr. Charisse Anne Panganiban led the successful batch of UB examinees by earning an elite spot in the national top ten at Rank 9. Joining her in this professional breakthrough are newly certified industrial engineers Engr. Czarina Rae Cueto, Engr. Mike Harold De Roma, Engr. Reinielle Macatangay, Engr. Jeann Mialyn Mendoza, Engr. Phoebe Ramos, Engr. Mary Angelie Senario, and Engr. Kyla Untalan.
