The University of Batangas honored the late University President Dr. Abelardo B. Perez on his 93rd birth anniversary with a memorial mass on August 15, 2025.
Rev. Fr. Mel Alvendia presided over the commemorative mass, which brought together faculty members, students, and university leaders to celebrate Dr. Perez’s legacy as one of the institution’s founding fathers. The solemn service concluded at 10:15 a.m.
In commemoration of Dr. Perez’s legacy, the UB community celebrated not only Dr. Perez’s life but also the enduring UBian spirit he helped shape—a spirit of hope, service, and a commitment to providing life-changing education for Batangueños.
