Two Political Science students, Yhlene Joy M. Dolar (PS1-1) and Lei A. Abdon (PS2-1), proudly represented the university in the vibrant and dynamic opening of Batangas City’s Linggo ng Kabataan 2024. Organized by the SK Federation of Batangas City, the event coincided with the celebration of International Youth Day on August 12 and highlighted the critical role of youth in community involvement and leadership.

In line with the theme “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,” the event also introduced the Batangas City Junior Officials 2024, a group of young leaders who will represent the youth as junior counterparts to the city’s officials. Dolar and Abdon’s participation in this important event reinforces the university’s commitment to fostering youth leadership and active participation in civic affairs.
