The 3rd Cavite Karate Dojo – Shoshinkan Karate International PH awarded Martin Genaro P. Liwag, a student from Grade 3 – Thomson of UB Grade School, the Bronze Medal in the 8 to 9 y/o Advance Kata – Male Category at Robinsons Mall, Novaliches on August 3, 2025.
Martin’s achievement highlights not only his dedication and discipline at such a young age but also the support of his family, coaches, and school community who continue to guide him in balancing academics and sports. His success serves as an inspiration to fellow UBians and young athletes to pursue excellence with passion and perseverance.
Liwag also received a Certificate of Commendation from the Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Batangas on August 27, 2025, through the initiative of Batangas City Councilor Aileen Arriola-Montalbo.
