Yuri O. Perez, a third-year BS Criminology student at the University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC) and Deputy Chancellor of the UBLC Marksmen’s Guild, earned 9th place at the 1st Gov. Arthur “Toto” Defensor Jr. Cup – Action Air Level III: World Shoot Qualifier and Classifier Match, held on November 16–17, 2024, at the Iloilo Sports Complex Gymnasium.
Perez competed alongside 50 participants from across the Philippines in this national event, which served as both a World Shoot Qualifier and Classifier Match. His performance was recognized as one of the top finishes in the competition.
As a BS Criminology student and leader within the UBLC Marksmen’s Guild, Perez’s achievement reflects his commitment to both his academic and extra curricular pursuits.
