The University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC) Red Cross Youth Council successfully organized the University Pledge 25 Drive last January 25, 2025, at the UBLC Gymnasium.
This initiative aimed to encourage voluntary blood donation and raise awareness about the importance of giving blood to save lives. Students, faculty members, and volunteers came together to support the cause, demonstrating the power of unity and compassion. Many generous donors stepped forward, contributing to the ongoing efforts to ensure a stable blood supply for those in need. The event was met with overwhelming participation, reflecting the strong sense of social responsibility within the UBLC community.
Through this blood donation drive, the UBLC Red Cross Youth Council highlighted the significance of regular blood donations in saving lives and addressing medical emergencies. Participants not only contributed to a noble cause but also became part of a movement dedicated to making a lasting impact on public health. The success of the University Pledge 25 Drive would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the volunteers, medical professionals, and all those who donated. Their selfless contributions reinforced the spirit of bayanihan, proving that when people come together for a cause, they can make a real difference.
The UBLC Red Cross Youth Council extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and donated. As the organization continues to advocate for health and humanitarian efforts, it remains committed to fostering a culture of service and generosity within the university and the wider community.
