The University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC), through its Community Extension Services, recently partnered with Legal Management students to hold a seminar on Ordinance and Resolution Drafting for the Sangguniang Barangay of Bulacnin. The seminar, aimed at strengthening the collaboration between the academic community and local government, focused on improving the students’ skills in technical writing, particularly in the drafting of ordinances and resolutions.
The session provided an opportunity for Barangay Officials to learn more about effective policy creation, while also offering Legal Management students a practical platform to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios. The seminar emphasized the importance of clear and impactful policy-making in local governance.
This initiative highlights the ongoing commitment of UBLC to contribute to community development by equipping local government officials with the necessary tools for policy creation. At the same time, it provided a valuable learning experience for students, enhancing their skills in a professional setting.
This event underscores the value of collaboration between educational institutions and local government, fostering growth and development for both students and the communities they serve.
