The University of Batangas (UB) – Young Communicators’ Guild – Internal Core Group (YCG-ICG) organized “COMMunishare and Alumni Talks” on January 30, 2025, at the Mass Communication Laboratory to guide Communication students in preparing for life after graduation.
The event aimed to help students navigate the challenges of transitioning from university to professional life by sharing real-world experiences and lessons from a distinguished alumna.
Mr. Mhark Jhosen Pagana opened the event with enthusiasm as host, energizing the crowd through interactive icebreaker games that created an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie. His engaging approach immediately drew students into the discussion, setting the tone for an afternoon of learning and meaningful exchange.
The highlight of the session came with Ms. Anaclette Julia Lincallo, an AB Communication alumna, who shared her inspiring career journey. She recounted her path from student life to success in the communication industry, offering practical advice on how passion, resilience, and confidence can shape one’s future. Her talk motivated students to pursue their aspirations while embracing both opportunities and challenges beyond the university.
The event concluded with a renewed sense of optimism among attendees. Students left the venue not only informed but also inspired to face post-graduation life with courage and purpose.
Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, the activity reinforced the importance of lifelong learning and professional development. Through “COMMunishare and Alumni Talks,” YCG-ICG strengthened the bridge between academic preparation and real-world experience—empowering Communication students to step confidently into the next chapter of their lives.
