The University of Batangas (UB) Political Science Circle (PSC) and the Association of Legal Management Majors (ALMMa), under the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), jointly conducted a Voter’s Education Seminar on September 24, 2024, at the UB Auditorium, to raise political awareness and encourage responsible participation among student voters.
The seminar aimed to empower the youth by deepening their understanding of the power of the ballot, highlighting the importance of informed decision-making and active engagement in the democratic process. Speakers tackled essential aspects of electoral participation, including voter rights, the value of discernment in choosing leaders, and the pivotal role of young voters in shaping national progress.
Through the seminar, participants gained valuable insights into the responsibilities of citizenship and the impact of collective action in fostering transparent and accountable governance. Organizers emphasized that a well-informed electorate serves as the cornerstone of a strong democracy—ensuring that every vote contributes to meaningful and lasting change.
