The University of Batangas (UB) is hosting a voter education and registration drive today, February 28, 2024, at the UB Millennium Gymnasium, providing students, faculty, and staff with an on-campus opportunity to register for the upcoming elections.
The activity is a joint initiative of the UB College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and the Political Science Department, in partnership with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC).
Aside from facilitating voter registration and application updates, the event also features an educational campaign on civic duty and responsible voting. COMELEC representatives are on-site to guide participants and ensure a smooth registration process.
Through this initiative, the University of Batangas continues to promote political awareness and active citizenship, empowering the UBian community to take part in building a more participatory and informed democracy.
