The University of Batangas (UB), through its Research and Publications Office (RPO), held the 2nd UBIAN Action Research Forum on February 27, 2024, at the Cristy Hernandez Hall, Multimedia Center. Themed “Building a Better U: Action Research Initiatives for Continuous University Improvement,” the event brought together faculty and staff to present research projects that drive innovation, sustainability, and institutional development.
The forum provided a platform for educators and researchers to showcase studies aimed at improving teaching methods, enhancing learning outcomes, and strengthening administrative practices. Each presentation reflected UB’s commitment to fostering a culture of inquiry and evidence-based decision-making, ensuring that education remains responsive to the evolving needs of students and society.
Led by Dr. Romell A. Ramos, Director of the RPO, the initiative highlighted UB’s alignment with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, particularly Target 4.7, which emphasizes equipping learners with skills for sustainable development, global citizenship, and cultural appreciation.
Through this annual forum, UB continues to empower its academic community to bridge research and practice, reaffirming its mission of “building a better U” one initiative at a time.
