Congratulations to the University of Batangas (UB) College of Nursing and Midwifery for being honored with the Plaque of Partnership Excellence for its unwavering commitment to nursing excellence and its strong collaboration with Batangas Medical Center.

The award was presented on October 30, 2024, during the Culminating Activity of Nursing Service Month 2024 held at the Provincial Auditorium. This recognition highlights the significant role that the partnership between UB’s College of Nursing and Batangas Medical Center plays in enhancing the quality of healthcare education and services in the region.

The partnership between UB and Batangas Medical Center has bridged the gap between theory and practice, providing nursing students with invaluable hands-on experience. By working directly with healthcare professionals in a real-world setting, students are empowered to develop their skills, deepen their knowledge, and advance their understanding of patient care, while also contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare in the community.

The Plaque of Partnership Excellence underscores the vital collaboration that enriches nursing education at UB, fostering a generation of nurses who are not only skilled and compassionate but also committed to improving the health and well-being of their communities. It is a testament to the College’s dedication to producing highly competent, ethical, and innovative nursing professionals who are prepared to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.

We celebrate this achievement and extend our gratitude to its dean, Dr. Sofia G. Catibog, all faculty, staff, and partners who have contributed to making this collaboration a success. We look forward to more milestones in this partnership, as UB College of Nursing and Midwifery continues to make a positive impact on the future of nursing and healthcare in our community.
