UB alumna secures Rank 5 as 24 education graduates pass the March 2026 Licensure Examination For Professional Teachers

Twenty-four graduates from the University of Batangas (UB) College of Education (CEDU) officially joined the ranks of Licensed Professional Teachers (LPT) following the release of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers results on May 12, 2026, with elementary education alumna Alyssa Carla C. Dela Rosa clinched the Rank 5 spot nationwide.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administered the rigorous national assessment, which evaluated thousands of aspiring educators across the country on professional education, general education, and specialized subject mastery.

Ms. Dela Rosa, LPT, anchored the university’s performance by earning a place in the national top ten at Rank 5 for the Elementary Level. Joining her in the roster of newly licensed elementary educators are Angelyn Gabrielle M. Eluna, LPT; Joshua C. Latosa, LPT; and Niña Alexandra A. Red, LPT. These newly certified teachers possess the critical pedagogical frameworks necessary to cultivate early childhood literacy, numeracy, and cognitive development in young learners.

The secondary education department also deployed a formidable wave of 20 licensed educators into the field. The successful board passers include:

This collective board victory underscores the systematic curriculum design of the UB Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) programs, proving their efficiency in preparing student teachers for high-stakes national licensing standards.
