ISA is a quality assurance process that assesses the institutional sustainability of an HEI in five key result areas such as governance and management; quality of teaching and learning; quality of professional exposure, research, and creative work/innovation; support for students; and relations with the community. The goal of ISA is to help HEIs develop a culture of quality and shift from inputs-based to outcomes-based QA.
