The College of Education, Arts, and Sciences (CEAS) of the University of Batangas Lipa City recognized its outstanding students and educators during CEAS Recognition 2026, an annual celebration honoring excellence in academics, leadership, research, internships, athletics, the arts, journalism, community engagement, and international initiatives. The event highlighted the dedication, perseverance, and achievements of the CEAS community while reaffirming the college’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded graduates equipped for academic, professional, and civic success.
As an annual college tradition, CEAS Recognition brings together students, faculty members, and guests to celebrate the accomplishments of the CEAS community. This year’s program was graced by the participation of Ms. Nichole Oriola, an alumna of the University of Batangas Lipa City and a graduate of the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies, who also served as the event’s resource speaker. Through her inspirational message, she shared valuable insights drawn from her academic and professional journey, encouraging students to pursue excellence, embrace lifelong learning, and make meaningful contributions to their respective fields.
The recognition program honored students who excelled across various academic and co-curricular categories. Under CEAS Parangal for Research, awards were presented for Best Research and Best Presenter, while CEAS Parangal for Internship recognized recipients of Best in Internship, Best in Teaching Demonstration, Best in Teaching Internship, Best in Field Instruction I, and Best in Field Instruction II for their exemplary performance in experiential learning and professional practice.
Students were likewise recognized through CEAS Parangal for Academic Performance, including the Best in Academic Performance award, as well as CEAS Parangal for Leadership, CEAS Parangal for Sports, CEAS Parangal for Journalism, CEAS Parangal for Vocal, CEAS Parangal for Dance, CEAS Parangal for Community Extension, CEAS Parangal for Community Involvement, and the Pillar of Faith award. These distinctions reflected the college’s holistic approach to student development by recognizing excellence beyond the classroom and encouraging leadership, creativity, service, and strong values.
The program also celebrated students who represented the college and the university in international academic engagements. Recognition was given to participants of the FILKOM 2026 SDG Summer Course Offline Session hosted by FILKOM Universitas Brawijaya, along with recipients of recognition awards earned in Vietnam, Jambi, and Borneo Tarakan. These achievements underscored the growing global presence of CEAS students and their ability to excel in international academic and cultural exchanges.
Beyond student recognition, the program acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the College’s faculty members in advancing quality education and student success. The college conferred awards to the Top 3 Faculty Members and recognized Program Advisers for their dedication, commitment, and exemplary service in mentoring students and supporting the college’s academic and co-curricular initiatives.
