United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), in commemoration of its 50th Golden Jubilee, recognized outstanding professionals who have made significant contributions to the architectural profession. One of those recognized was Ar. Manolo Merhan, FUAP, ASEAN Architect, MUPD, who was among the 50 Notable Architects during the by-invitation-only event on April 8, 2025, at Solaire Resort in Manila.
Ar. Merhan is the present Program Head of University of Batangas – Lipa City Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Not only is the UAP award to him a reflection of his commitment to architectural excellence, but also to his ongoing endeavor of molding the future practitioners through education and guidance.This recognition identifies leadership impact that goes beyond design, including service, vision, and commitment to serving the profession on the local and regional levels.
