The University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC), through the Student Affairs and External Programs Office, successfully conducted the UBLC Annual Job Fair 2026 on June 30, 2026, at the UBLC Multipurpose Hall, bringing together more than 24 participating companies and government agencies that offered over 3,000 job vacancies to graduates, graduating students, alumni, and job seekers. The annual initiative served as a one-stop employment event that directly connected qualified applicants with potential employers while promoting career readiness and workforce participation.
The Annual Job Fair gathered private-sector employers and government agencies from various industries to provide employment opportunities across different fields and professional disciplines. Participating organizations conducted on-site recruitment activities, including application screening, interviews, and employment consultations, allowing applicants to explore available positions and begin their hiring process in a convenient and accessible setting.
Designed to bridge the gap between education and employment, the initiative enabled participants to engage directly with recruiters, learn about industry requirements, and discover career pathways aligned with their academic qualifications, skills, and professional aspirations. By bringing employers and job seekers together in one venue, the event strengthened collaboration between the University and industry partners while expanding employment opportunities for the UBLC community.
The Student Affairs and External Programs Office continues to organize programs that support graduate employability and career development by creating meaningful linkages with industry partners, government agencies, and employers. Through initiatives such as the Annual Job Fair, the office reinforces the University’s commitment to preparing graduates for successful careers and facilitating their transition from academic life to the professional workforce.
The University of Batangas Lipa City remains committed to producing globally competitive and career-ready graduates by fostering partnerships that create equitable access to employment opportunities, promote inclusive economic growth, and strengthen collaboration among educational institutions, government agencies, and industry stakeholders. This initiative advances the University’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) 4 (Quality Education), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through programs that empower learners, expand career opportunities, and cultivate sustainable partnerships for community development.
