Seven Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) graduates from the University of Batangas (UB) officially joined the ranks of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) following the release of the May 2026 CPA Licensure Examination results on June 3, 2026.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administered the highly competitive board exams, testing the candidates’ advanced competencies in financial reporting, auditing, taxation, and regulatory frameworks. The successful UB graduates include: Kathlene M. Aldovino, CPA; Rex Gabriel G. Dinglasan, CPA; Lyka D. Hernandez, CPA; Layleh Ilana A. Magtibay, CPA; Lei Krizia M. Pahayahay, CPA; Jeryldean Josiah H. Reyes, CPA, and; Darlene Faye C. Rosales, CPA.
This collective victory emphasizes the capability of the UB curricula to align traditional classroom pedagogy with the strict technical standards demanded by modern global industries. These new professionals will immediately enter the workforce, taking on critical analytical and strategic roles within financial markets, corporate boardrooms, and public administration.
