The University of Batangas (UB) College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) – Young Communicators’ Guild (YCG) released Episode 3 of COMMusta Ka Ga? on February 16, 2025, under the theme “Valentine’s Special.”
Hosts Mhark Pagana and Keema Alday opened the episode with an engaging introduction that invited viewers to join the Valentine’s-themed conversation. They introduced student interviewees from various colleges and encouraged them to share their thoughts and experiences about love and relationships. The team also explored how students define friendship, love, and relationships within the context of school and youth culture.
The hosts asked questions such as: What’s a deal breaker in a relationship for you? Do you believe love is a choice or a feeling? Can love grow over time or is it instant? Do you believe in second chances? What’s your plan this Valentine’s Day? The students offered heartfelt answers that reflected their unique perspectives, personal values, and lived experiences.
Through this program, YCG provided students with a platform to express their emotions openly and connect with others who share similar sentiments. The episode celebrated diverse expressions of love—whether through friendship, romance, or gratitude—and strengthened the sense of belonging within the UB community.
YCG produced the episode to advance Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being, particularly Indicator 3.3.5 – Mental Health Support for Students. The organization aimed to strengthen emotional awareness, encourage open communication, and create a supportive and joyful atmosphere within the university community.
By producing COMMusta Ka Ga? Episode 3, YCG promoted mental health and emotional connection among students and reinforced its role as a creative space that encourages understanding, compassion, and authenticity.
