UB reaches national and regional milestones in recent PACUCOA awards

The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation, Inc. (PACUCOA) has declared in an October 2022 letter to University of Batangas (UB) that the institution has the 4th highest number of accredited programs in the Philippines.

The same letter also mentions that UB earned awards for certain master’s and doctoral programs that no other Region IV institution has garnered yet, making the university a leading institution in this part of the country.

UB submits to government health and safety representatives for Safety Seal inspection

Representatives of the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office IV (CHEDRO IV), the Department of Health (DOH) - CALABARZON, and the Batangas City Government visited University of Batangas (UB) last October 17, 2022 to check the institution’s compliance with health and safety standards.

Both UB - Batangas City (UBBC) and UB - Lipa City (UBLC) campuses underwent the Safety Seal Ocular Inspection. This inspection was conducted to assess whether or not the university adheres to government guidelines on conducting face-to-face classes during different COVID- 19 alert levels.

UB hosts NCAA South 24th season

The University of Batangas (UB) inherited the privilege to host next season’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) South games during a ceremony held at De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) last September 30, 2022.

In the Closing and Turnover Rites held at DLSL’s SENTRUM gym, UB Chairman of the Board Atty. Jesus V. Mayo and Sports Director Mr. Christopher V. Quizon were designated by their La Sallian counterparts as Policy Board President and Management Committee Chairman respectively for Season 24 of the intercollegiate games.
