The initiative aimed to raise students\u2019 awareness of the dangers and legal consequences of hazing under Republic Act 11053, or the <strong>Anti-Hazing Act of 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign featured informational sessions, awareness drives, and the distribution of brochures explaining the law&#8217;s provisions and penalties. It also encouraged students to promote respect, safety, and lawful conduct in all initiation practices within fraternities, sororities, and organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the organizers, the campaign\u2019s goal is to protect the rights and welfare of students while strengthening UB\u2019s culture of safety and accountability.
