From September 18 to 25, 2025, the University of Batangas (UB) Young Communicators\u2019 Guild (YCG) spearheaded the activity \u201cSinEksena 2025,\u201d a creative initiative that celebrated the richness of Filipino cinema while promoting experiential and lifelong learning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event offered Communication students a platform to express creativity, teamwork, and cultural appreciation through the art of performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSinEksena 2025\u201d invited students to recreate and reinterpret memorable scenes from beloved Filipino films, turning academic knowledge into vivid storytelling. In \u201cUn\/Happy for You,\u201d Andrea Nicole Magsino and Ken Sapunto captured the heartfelt emotions of youth and vulnerability. Khate Ann Aya and Vermeil Chern Caspillan brought humor and confidence to \u201cYou\u2019re My Boss,\u201d while Eros Jedric Brosoto and Carl Martinni Dalangin portrayed resilience and defiance in \u201cDekada \u201970.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, particularly Indicator 4.3.2 \u2013 Public Events (Lifelong Learning), the project emphasized the value of creative activities as a form of continuous education. It encouraged students to strengthen their communication and collaboration skills while deepening their understanding of Filipino culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through \u201cSinEksena 2025,\u201d the Young Communicators\u2019 Guild reaffirmed its mission to cultivate expressive, insightful, and socially aware communicators.
