The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Turnover Ceremony officially declared the University of Batangas (UB) as the host of NCAA South Season 27 on August 15, 2025, at Trace College in Los Ba\u00f1os, Laguna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UB embraces this prestigious opportunity to lead the 27th season of the NCAA South, a momentous event that coincides with the university\u2019s 80th Founding Anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UB President Lily Marlene Hernandez-Bohn described hosting the season as both a proud privilege and a defining moment for the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis event allows us to showcase our organizational capabilities and also core values and culture that shape our university,\u201d she said. She added that she hopes this year\u2019s games ignite passion, strengthen friendships, and continue to uphold the highest standards of unity and fair play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
UB Sports Director Mr. Christopher V. Quizon affirmed that the institution is fully prepared to cater to the needs of the NCAA now that it has returned. He noted that hosting Season 24 in Academic Year 2022 \u2013 2023 was an eye-opening experience that equipped UB to professionally manage large-scale events such as the NCAA\u2014highlighting improvements in crowd control, certification, and program flow. \u201cUB is prepared for everything,\u201d he said, adding metaphorically, \u201cLove is lovelier the second time around\u201d in reference to NCAA\u2019s return to UB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The official games of NCAA South Season 27 will run from October 18, 2025 to March 2026. Meanwhile, the ceremonial opening will be held on January 30, 2026, coinciding with the celebration of UB\u2019s 80th Founding Anniversary.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
