Junior Philippine Institute Accountants from University of Batangas Lipa City Campus have participated in several competitions organized by National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NFJPIA holds national conventions semi-annually, gathering Accountancy students from all over the Philippines. Technical sessions update members with relevant information about the profession to supplement their curriculum. Inter-scholastic and inter-regional competitions are held as well for both academic and non-academic events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last October 6, some students went to De La Salle Dasmari\u00f1as, Cavite to join the NFJPIA Region-IV 22 nd General Assembly \u2013 Corona Australis: The Southern Crown. The event has two (2) categories, the Academic and Non-Academic Competition. The UBLC JPIA students never fail to make the university proud and came home with flying colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last event was held last November 23-26, they attended the NFJPIA 22nd
National Mid-Year Convention with the theme, \u201cBayanihan MMXIX Rising as One\u201d at
Iloilo Grand Hotel, Iloilo City. They also brought home awards from their respective
competitions.

Another achievement was accomplished by Ms. Maryjoy Nazaro for being included in University of the Philippines JPIA Search for Top 50 Outstanding Accountancy Students of the Philippines Tagaytay City, 1 st place in the SyCip Gorres Velayo & Company (SGV & Co.) Management Advisory Services Case Study Competition and 2nd place in the Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC)\/Isla Lipana & Co. Auditing Case Study Competition. 2019 has been a fulfilling year not only for the JPIAns but also to the entire UBLC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
