The University of Batangas and College of Engineering posted another exemplary performance after producing sixty-seven (67) newly registered mechanical engineers and a topnotcher in the recent Mechanical Engineering Board Examinations held last February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The results, released last February 28,2020, showed UB\u2019s passing percentage at 79.27% which was way above the 38.45% National Passing Percentage wherein 1,334 out of 3,469 passed.
The new UBian mechanical engineers were presented and given recognition during the university\u2019s Flag ceremony last March 2, 2020. The topnotcher, Engr. Ejay P. Marasigan who ranked fourth received cash incentive from University of Batangas for his performance and for bringing pride to the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Engr. Marasigan was a graduate of UB from Pre-Elementary up to College. He never forgets to acknowledge the university\u2019s role in his recent and unexpected achievement. He shared, \u201cUB has great impact on my success. They have provided a great environment for learning and improvement. It has taught me principles in life to face greater challenges\u201d. Engr. Marasigan also made mention of the Engineering Department\u2019s hands on treatment to all of its takers. \u201cWe were fortunate that the Engineering Department provided us with what we needed to prepare us for the board exam. I started gaining confidence. I put my best effort and just let God do the rest\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The administration commended the hard work of the department, as it has once again proven that intelligence and character will make their students excellent. The UB High School Department was also recognized for producing once again another top placer of the board examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
