University of Batangas has shown once more the excellence of its engineering education, after producing another roster of passers in four licensure examinations namely Mechanical Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Electronics Technician and Electrical Engineer licensure examinations. The university outperformed the national passing rate in all exams.
University of Batangas after registering nineteen (19) new Electrical Engineers, posted a 71.43% passing rate in the April 2022 Electronics Engineer exam, way above the __ National Passing Percentage. Meanwhile, the University achieved a 100% passing rate in the April 2022 Electronics Technology licensure examination after producing seventeen (17) new engineers. University’s very own Engr. John Elliot T. Atienza outshined in both examinations after bagging the 2nd spot in the Electronics Technology Licensure Exam and the 8th spot in Electronics Engineer Licensure Exam.
The topnotcher together with the other passers were given recognition during the flag ceremony last May 2, 2022. Engr. Atienza received a cash incentive from the university for his achievements.
On the other hand, UBians also had a commendable performance in the February 2022 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Exam where 38 students passed. The University’s passing rate is 76%, which is bove the national rate of 56.11%. For the April 2022Electrical Engineer licensure exam, 80.04% of all takers from the university passed, totalling 93 students. This passing rate is significantly higher than the national passing rate, which is 54.41%.
