With the commitment to enhance the teaching profession, University of Batangas along with the Department of Education is now conducting the Regional Mass Training of the second batch of participants, particularly three hundred sixty-three (363) Grade 11 teachers of DepEd. The activity commenced last April 17, 2017.
Included in the subjects that will be the focus of the training are English, Filipino, Social Sciences for Humanities (HUMSS) track and Math and Science for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) track.
The first batch of K to 12 Mass Training was held last May 23-June 9, 2016. This year’s training activities cater Grade 11 teachers of DepEd from Batangas City, Batangas Province, Lipa City, Tanauan, Antipolo, Rizal and Cavite. Trainers are our very own professors from College Department, some faculty members of our Senior High School Department and principals from DepEd schools.
The training will run until May 4, 2017 along with the objectives of the training, to deepen the content knowledge of the participants and to gain updates on the pedagogy and teaching methods.
