University of Batangas registers 23 Psychometricians with one topnotcher; College’s faculty member bags Top 5 spot in the Licensure Examinations for Psychologists

University of Batangas is proud to share the College of Arts and Sciences’ commendable performance
after producing 23 Registered Psychometricians with one topnotcher, Ms. Vina Abigail Salcedo who
ranked tenth, in the October 2019 Psychometrician Licensure Examination.

The results released last November 5, 2019, posted UB’s passing rate at 92% which was way above the
63.73% National Passing Rate wherein 6,800 passed out of 10,670 examinees, making University of
Batangas- Batangas City Campus rank one (1) in the province.

The new UBian Psychometricians were presented and given recognition during the University’s
Thanksgiving Mass and Program last November 11, 2019 held at UB Auditorium.

Salcedo received cash incentive from University of Batangas for her exemplary performance and for
bringing pride to the institution.

In addition, one faculty member of the College and alumnus from Batch 2014, Ms. Mahjalin Bugtong took
the Licensure Examinations for Psychologists and made it to the Top 5 rank. Ms. Bugtong expressed her
gratitude to the people who served as her support group before and during the examination and lifting all
her praises and thanks to the Lord for bringing her through and making her strong. “Thank you so much
dear God for taking me further than I dreamed possible and for working in my life in ways beyond what I
have imagined”, shared Ms. Bugtong.

Dr. Ma. Annabelle I. Tenorio, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, loud and proud, expressed her
delight with the college’s feat, chipping in to the University’s weekly habit of achieving successes.
