University of Batangas bags 2018 National Best PESO

University of Batangas Community Relations, Alumni and Placement Office (CAPO) has
been committed in its thrust of facilitating the best school-to-work transitions, promoting
decent and productive employment to its graduates. This year, the team under the leadership
of Mrs. Anna Louisa L. Cauntay underwent extensive and tedious screening process of their
2018 accomplishments. Reaping the fruits of their untiring efforts, the Job Placement Office of
University of Batangas was hailed as the National Best Public Employment Service Office
(PESO).

The said award was conferred during the Search for the Best PESO Awards Night during
the 19 th National PESO Congress, with the theme, “Sa PESO, may Disenteng Trabaho ang Bawat
Pilipino”, last October 11, 2019 at SMX Convention Center, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
The winning PESO was critiqued based on their accomplishments on their core functions such
as referral and placement, career guidance and employment coaching.

The University of Batangas has been, and will always be an active partner of the
Department of Labor and Employment in enhancing the employability of graduates.
