The University of Batangas takes pride once again as their two registered guidance
counselors were re-elected as officers of the Integrated Professional Counselors Association of
the Philippines – Region 4 A (IPCAP - 4A) during the organization’s 4 th Professional
Development Assembly and Regional Council Election conducted last October 4, 2019 at
Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa, Los Banos, Laguna.
Ms. Edchell D. Adajar, RGC, Guidance Counselor assigned in the University’s Batangas
Campus and Ms. Olive M. Calingan, RGC, Guidance Counselor assigned in the University’s
Lipa Campus are now holding the positions as Vice-President and Secretary, respectively.
The IPCAP IVA was founded in 2015, and since then, University of Batangas Guidance
Counselors has religiously seat as officers. During the term 2017-2019, Ms. Hannah Ericka M.
Andal, RGC and Ms. Rina R. Olan, RGC served as President and Treasurer along with Adajar
and Calingan who served as PRO and Auditor. Andal and Olan are now ex-officios who will act
as consultants of the newly elected officers for term 2019-2021.
It can also be recalled that Dr. Gladiola A. Eje-Dimaculangan, RGC was one of the region’s
pioneer officers and is now currently holding a national position as IPCAP’s Professional
Development Officer and Chairman of the IPCAP National’s Ways and Means Committee.
Truly, with all these feat, University of Batangas has once again proven that its guidance
counselors are at par from others and undeniably the best among the rest.
