Last April 4, 2019 the UB Junior People Management Association of the Philippines
(JPMAP) and UB Organization of Psychology Students (OPS) attended the 4th National
Convention of the Junior Asian Association of School HRMD Practitioners, Inc.
(JAASHPI) with the theme, “Industrial Revolution 4.0: Impact to Human Resources" at
De La Salle University - Dasmariñas Cavite.
Aside from the seminar, the Business Administration Major in Human Resource
Development Management and AB Pscyhology students also participated and excelled
in the various competitions as part of the convention.
UBians were hailed Champion in the HR Trivia Quiz Bee, participated in by two 4th year
BSBA- HRDM students, Mia Rose Umali and Via P. Montero and two 3rd year AB
Psychology students namely Ian Zachary Casapao and Jenelyn Catapang.
Meanwhile, two more 3rd year AB Psychology students of UB raked the top spots in
other contests, Michelle Badillo was the Champion in the Slogan Making Contest and
Charisse M. Castillo bagged the first place in the On-The-Spot Poster Making Contest.
The winners received cash prizes and certificates.
The BSBA-HRDM participants were trained by Mrs. Daisy Maghirang while the OPS
students were guided by Ms. Wennie Cascalla and Ms. Mahjalin Araiza Bugtong.
Mr. Vincent Alcantara, JPMAP Adviser and Mr. Carl Reman Maranan, OPS Adviser, are
indeed very proud of their students’ commendable achievement.
