UB elevates to Gawad Anak Hall of Fame Award; Colliflores recognized as SDO Mentor Gall of Fame Award

University of Batangas was adjudged and awarded the prestigious Hall of Fame for its
conclusive and consistent challengers in the annual National Ten Outstanding Sons
and Daughters of OFW Awards (TOSDOSA) or GawadANAKOFW.

The CBCP’s Episcopal Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and
Itinerant People (ECMI) hold its 11 th year of giving excellent service by providing
citations relative to undertaking the cause of the sons and daughters of OFW , it
features the search for the Ten Outstanding Sons and Daughters of OFW Student
Achievers (TOSDOSA) Awards. Twenty (20) finalists were chosen nationwide for the
Final Interview and Awarding Ceremony on March 22, 2019, 1:30 – 5:00 PM, which was
held at the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Intramuros, Manila.
The GawadAnakOFW is the CBCP-ECMI’s innovative undertaking for its SONS &
DAUGHTERS of OFWs FORMATION PROGRAM (SDOFP) which was participated by
the different public and private junior high schools nationwide.

have given the exemplary performance to be elevated in the rooster of topnotchers in
these prolific years:

Acclaimed as the first regional and national recipient of the Gawad ANAK, the University
is privileged and has the prestige to be eminent in the Hall of Fame due to its consistent
inclusion as top performer for five years bringing it closer to another milestone as
candidate for Zeal of Excellence Award.
