University of Batangas opens new abode of learning- UB Millennium Campus

The official blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the UB Millennium Campus, which houses
the Senior High School Department, took place last August 15, 2018 coinciding with the
celebration of the UB Days.

The Eucharistic Celebration hosted by Rev. Fr. Renz Ilagan was followed by the ribbon-cutting
ceremony, led by the University President, Dr. Hernando B. Perez, and the Chairman of the
Board of Regents, Atty. Jesus V. Mayo. Gracing the event were members of the Board of
Regents, the UB administration, the UB Alumni Association Inc. and representatives of the
university’s partner companies. It was then followed with the blessing of all classrooms and
offices and with the traditional coin shower.

Recognizing the Board of Regents for the wisdom that they have given, the administration for
their unwavering support in the pursuit of the establishment of the Millennium Campus and to
the whole UB Community, the Chairman expressed his deepest gratitude.

The University President shared in an interview, “The Millennium Campus is just the beginning,
others will follow, and the best is yet to come. And I hope that everybody finds this new
building beautiful, as the new campus will be very promising, very useful and will help our
students.”

Indeed, this is something we should all be proud of. The University of Batangas is growing by
leaps and bounds.
