Graduate School

The Graduate School (GS) offers courses that encourage students to broaden their competencies in teaching and research and to enhance themselves intellectually. It has expanded its program offerings to serve enrollees preparing for technical, administrative and managerial professions.

From its opening in school year 1969-1970 to date, the GS has remained true to its commitment. It has consistently grown through the years keeping up the tradition of truth and relevance. It has become a significant member of the graduate education system and it continues to upgrade its resources to reflect contemporary professional environment.

Doctorate Degree
Doctor of Philosophy in Education Major: Educational Management, English, Filipino and Mathematics An individual who completes a doctoral degree in education is able to demonstrate a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the complex and coherent body of knowledge (e.g. theories, principles and concepts) and skills (e.g. problem solving and communication skills) that are in the forefront of an academic discipline or professional area; the ability to extend the latter or generate new knowledge through research; and the ability to make informed judgments on complex issues in specific fields of specialization, and of approaching and solving problems in innovative ways.


Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management Upon completion of the Business Management program, the graduates shall apply the business skills, foresights and innovativeness required of high caliber professionals in the establishment, development, and sustenance of their own business organizations; internalize the values of creativity, teamwork and social responsiveness to be able to function in multi-cultural business settings; gain updated learning facility for professional managers steeped in state-of-the-art technologies that would empower them toward greater competitiveness locally and globally; and utilize dynamic and integrated approach in the management of human resource and in cultivating a cohesive organizational culture.


Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration Upon completion of the Public Administration program, the graduates shall incorporate knowledge of interdisciplinary focus in the performance of responsibilities as model public administrators; integrate theoretical and applied approaches in the management of public corporate operations; and demonstrate values of dependability, respect for fundamental rights, sense of justice and respect for Filipino culture and global concerns.


Master's Degree
Master of Arts in Education Major: Educational Administration, English, Filipino and Social Studies The program Master of Arts in Education aims to increase students’ understanding of the key factors, trends, and issues in school management with emphasis on practical applications to public and private educational institutions at all levels; demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills requisite for administration and leadership careers in education; discern among, implement and evaluate new developments and advances in education; balance the needs of education in the light of sociopolitical and economic influences; equip students with tools needed in carrying out research projects related to teaching, learning and community service attuned to their specialized areas; demonstrate the ability to critically evaluate research findings in applicable fields of practice; and implement plans for personal and professional development and career advancement.


Master in Business Management Major: Business Administration and Human Resource Management Upon completion of the Business Management program, the graduates shall apply the business skills, foresights and innovativeness required of a high caliber professionals in the establishment, development, and sustenance of their own business organizations; internalize the values of creativity, teamwork and social responsiveness to be able to function in multi-cultural business settings; gain updated learning facility for professional managers steeped in state-of-the-art technologies that would empower them toward greater competitiveness locally and globally; and utilize dynamic and integrated approach in the management of human resource and in cultivating a cohesive organizational culture.


Master in Public Administration This program aims to give students exposure to a broad program in public management with interdisciplinary focus and problem-oriented courses which shall prepare them for important responsibility as public managers; provide executives and supervisors in government service the opportunity to enhance their careers through acquisition of training in the management of public corporate operations which integrates theoretical and applied approaches; strengthen values of dependability, respect for fundamental rights, sense of justice and love for Filipino culture; emphasize basic and innovative concepts and practices required of public and non-profit administrators; enhance competencies in the areas of analytic and conceptual skills, problem solving, organizational management, written and oral communication and ethical conduct.


Master of Science in Mathematics Upon completion of the MS Mathematics program, the graduates shall gain firm grounding and training in theoretical and applied mathematics for a wide range of career directions which include academia and industry; apply mathematical tools in the analysis of problems and other disciplines; foster independent and creative research projects combined with the highest degree of scholarship and academic standards.


Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology The Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology facilitates training in the clinical knowledge in psychology through intensive exposure in an in-depth learning training in psychological assessments, psychotherapy and psychopathology to ethically and effectively execute psychological-based interventions, thus producing globally competitive graduates with license and specialization in the field of psychology that contribute in responsive services to issues of greater complexity.


Master of Arts in Psychology The Master of Arts in Psychology program adheres in the learning environment that equips its graduates to be future academe scholars, adept researchers and competent professionals with license in the field of psychology through building a firm grounding and intensive training that allows creative demonstration of psychological principles in response to the need of the society and competence in producing researches to further draw conclusions about psychological phenomena.


Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling The Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling aims to produce professionally-competent Registered Guidance Counselors through determined training in techniques in counseling, testing, group processing, program development, career enhancement and scientific research methods based on the philosophical foundation and current trends in Guidance and Counseling to further demonstrate responsiveness to multi-cultural and global concerns.


Master in Early Childhood Education The Master in Education major in Early Childhood Education program enhances the knowledge and skills of educators in the latest developments, trends and issues of early childhood education. The program gives students training in investigating historical and projected issues to early childhood education and working with young children aged from 0 to 8 years old. It aims to produce graduates who are competent and professional in providing quality education to young students.


Master in Physical Education and Sports Science Master in Physical Education and Sports Science is a program with the primary goal of providing the students with a broadly based understanding of the discipline through theoretical and practical courses in physical education and sports management. This program allows maximum opportunity for students to pursue various combinations of courses in teaching, coaching, programming and administration, and within their particular areas of interest.
